Improve the organization for sustainable development

In order to better integrate sustainable development into the corporate development strategy, the company has established the Sustainable Development Committee, as the highest level of sustainable management organization in the enterprise, which defines the sustainable development strategy, makes decisions on major issues related to the sustainable development of enterprises, and guides the departments and subsidiaries at all levels of the enterprise to steadily promote the implementation of the corporate sustainable development plan and the achievement of its goals, and to achieve the organic unity of economic, environmental and social responsibilities. The leader of the committee is Mr. Han Chun, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

      The committee arranges regular meetings to discuss and make decisions on sustainability-related issues. Meanwhile, the committee has an executive committee which involved the leaders of each sub-company, responsible for monitoring, implementation and governance of the content related to corporate sustainable development; the sustainable development pioneers are formed by the heads of different departments, responsible for the execution, coordination and implementation of the goals of the daily work of sustainable management, and accept the supervision and guidance of the committee to continuously improve and enhance the implementation effect. At the same time, we have established the Sustainable Development Office to organize and coordinate sustainable development management and practices, and to publish the annual sustainable development report.



 

Responsibilities of CSD Committee:

1.Take responsibility for the formulation of CSD strategies, visions, goals, guidelines, action lines, policies, etc. at the enterprise level, guide the direction and monitor the implementation.

2.Coordinate the establishment, implementation and continuous improvement of CSD management system to ensure that CSD management meets relevant laws and regulations, international standards and customer requirements.

3.Carry out effective communication with various stakeholders on CSD related projects.

4.Proceed cross-company/cross-process CSD business coordination and problem solving, and facilitate the synergistic operation of CSD.

5.Guide the construction, operation and improvement of corporate Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) management system, and be responsible for the handling of major EHS issues.

 Handa Enterprise attaches great importance to the improvement of sustainable development ability, and maintains good communication and cooperation with China National Textile Industry Council, China National Garment Association, China Textile Engineering Society, China Chamber of International Commerce and other organizations. Through external cooperation, We constantly improve its sustainable development ability. At the same time, the company actively carries out training related to sustainable development, constantly improves the awareness of sustainable development of employees, enhances the enthusiasm and initiative of employees, and promotes the dedication of employees to sustainable development.

In-depth communication and cooperation with China Textile Industry Federation, China Garment Association, China Textile Engineering Society, China International Chamber of Commerce and other institutions have not only strengthened exchanges and cooperation within the industry, but also promoted Handa's progress in sustainable development.

       Handa actively participates in activities, forums and seminars related to sustainable development to obtain the latest sustainable development concepts and technology information. Through these external collaborations, Handa can continuously optimize its own sustainable development strategy, improve resource utilization efficiency, reduce environmental impact, achieve green, low-carbon and circular development.
