Egyptian government officials visit Handa's egyptian factor
In January 2025, Mr. Essam Elbeheiery, Chairman of the General Authority of Free Zones in Egypt, Mr. Mohamed Elsheikh, General Manager of the Administration Department, and Mr. Khaled Diab, Chairman of the Nasser City Free Zone, visited Handa Industries's Egyptian factory to inspect its production and operations.
During the visit, senior government officials toured the factory's production processes, observed technological innovations, and implemented 6S management practices. They also exchanged views with factory management on topics such as production management and environmental responsibility. They affirmed the factory's achievements in improving production efficiency, optimizing management models, and practicing environmental protection, stating that Handa's Egyptian factory has set a benchmark for industrial development in Egypt.


Japanese subsidiary moves to new address
In January 2025, Handa Corporation's Japanese subsidiary, Handa Textile Co., Ltd., completed its relocation from Shinjuku to a new site in Sendagaya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, and held an opening ceremony at the new location. The new office area is adjacent to the Royal Gardens and is equipped with modern office facilities and advanced communication equipment.
This relocation aims to optimize the company's operational layout in the Japanese market, improve the office environment and work efficiency, and provide convenient conditions for business expansion and customer reception. Handa Industries stated that it will continue to deepen its presence in the Japanese market and enhance its localized service levels.


Bangladesh project officially signed
On April 15, 2025, the day of Handa Industries' 30th anniversary celebration, the company signed an investment agreement with the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA). According to the agreement, Handa Industries will invest US$150 million in Bangladesh's special economic zones and export processing zones over the next five years to build a full-chain production base covering weaving, dyeing and finishing to garment production.
At the signing ceremony, Sun Wei, Vice Mayor of Wuxi Municipal Government, Yan Yan, Vice President of China National Textile and Apparel Council, and Fazlee Shamim Ehsan, Vice President of Bangladesh Knitting Producers and Exporters Association, witnessed the signing. Previously, the two sides signed a memorandum of understanding at the Bangladesh Investment Summit on April 10th, and Professor Muhammad Yunus, Chief Adviser of the Interim Government of Bangladesh, congratulated both parties via social media.
This project is a strategic initiative by Handa Industries to further improve its global production network and optimize its supply chain layout, building upon its existing operations in Myanmar, Egypt, and other locations.

Chairman of Handa Industries attends the 2025 Textile Industry "Belt and Road" Singapore Forum
On November 20, 2025, the Singapore Forum on the Belt and Road Initiative for the textile industry, themed “Global Textile Industry Collaboration and Innovative Future,” was held. Han Chun, Chairman of Handa Industries, was invited to attend and participate in the roundtable discussion.
During the dialogue session themed "Gathering Strength and Integrating to Create a Shared Future for the Global Textile Industry," Han Chun shared Handa Industries' practical experience in overseas investment. He stated that respecting local culture is the cornerstone of successful overseas investment, and companies need to accurately grasp local business rules and market logic. Chairman of Handa Industries attends the 2025 Roundtable Conference of Well-known Entrepreneurs
In November 2025, the 8th World Textile Merchants Conference was held in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province. During the event, a renowned entrepreneurs' roundtable was hosted under the theme International Competition and Cooperation — Reconstructing a New Pattern of the Global Textile Value Chain. Han Chun, Chairman of Handa Industries, attended as a special guest and delivered a keynote speech.
In his speech, Chairman Han shared the company’s experience in global development and intelligent transformation. In terms of global layout, Handa has established a full-fledged intelligent manufacturing system covering four core markets, six marketing hubs and nine production bases. It is also pushing forward the construction of overseas production bases in Bangladesh, Egypt and other regions to further optimize its global industrial network.
