Social Responsibility: UN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

As a global corporate citizen, Handa Industries actively responds to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, comprehensively examines SDGs and their relevance to the company, and sorts out SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), SDG 12 (Sustainable Consumption and Production), SDG13 (Climate Action), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the goals) are the priorities for companies to promote the sustainable development goals.

In order to respond to and contribute to these eleven SDGs goals, the Handa CSR Leading Group combines Company resources and strength to integrate SDGs into Company culture and daily operation, and works with stakeholders such as employees, clients, suppliers, communities and local governments to build a sustainable development future which promotes the unification of economic, social and ecological benefits.

For SDGs, our work is still in the process of continuous improvement and upgrading. In the future, we will continue to strive to gradually establish the overall framework, more closely integrate SDGs into corporate social responsibility management and decision-making, and promote the realization of sustainable development goals by our own actions.
