Donate supplies to orphanages in Myanmar
Handa Myanmar Factory donated 1,600 kilograms of rice, 1,500 packets of instant noodles, 1,000 pieces of children's clothing, and more than 800 bottles of beverages and mineral water, worth about 8.5 million kyat, to the local Mingalar temple in Phayagyi village.
Mingalar Temple is located 35 kilometers away from Shuilimban Industrial zone. The temple has adopted more than 120 orphans of all ages, including some children born with disabilities. According to the abbot, some of the children were sent to the temple gate as early as two days old for various reasons. The temple adopt these unfortunate children and raise them entirely through social donations and private support, and provide them with education. Since its establishment, dozens of college students have come from the orphanage, and many children have grown up and have the ability to live independently.
On the day of the donation, the workers of the Myanmar factories had close interaction with the orphaned and disabled children adopted by the temple. The children also smiled happily during the interaction.
In the future, the Mingalar Temple will also receive regular donations from the Myanmar factory as a targeted support object.
