Under the guidance of the general policy of Handa Enterprise vigorously developing overseas markets, strengthening internal and external dual circulation, and continuing to promote digital and intelligent development, the digital construction of overseas factories in 2024 has become the top priority of the enterprise's business strategy. To this end, General Manager Wei Haibo of the Handa Information Center led his team, in collaboration with the project team of Feiliu Technology, to enter the Handa Myanmar factory on March 29 to conduct a week-long preliminary research on the construction of the MES system.
On March 30, the research kick-off meeting was officially held at the Myanmar factory. Bao Gongming, general manager of Myanmar's garment department, Tao Hongfu, deputy general manager of the operations department, directors of factories in Myanmar and heads of relevant departments were all present.
At the meeting, General Manager Wei Haibo of the Information Center shared in depth the digital construction process of Handa Enterprise and the Myanmar factory construction plan. Mr. Ji Xia of Feiliu Technology explained the system process and post-design plan based on our company's vision and actual business process. General Manager Bao Gongming and Deputy General Manager Tao Hongfu welcomed the project team's arrival for investigation and looked forward to the early implementation of the project. They also promised that the factory would provide all-round support and cooperation during the early investigation and later implementation.
In the next five days, the research team went deep into the factory and conducted detailed research on the entire production process through face-to-face communication, interviews, and on-site inspections. They conducted detailed research and comprehensive assessment on the warehouse needs of relevant functional departments, and after repeated discussions and confirmations, a preliminary report of research results was formed, which provided strong data support and decision-making basis for the subsequent construction of the MES system.
On the afternoon of April 4, the project team organized a summary meeting for the relevant persons in charge of the factory. Mr. Tao Hongfu, deputy general manager of Myanmar Operations Department, reported and elaborated on the results of this survey, sorted out the pain points of the company's production process, and provided a direction for the MES system to optimize on-site production lean management. Feiliu project manager Ji Xia also summarized and shared the research work, and clarified the next project plan and goals based on the current production status of the factory and future improvement directions.
Finally, Mr. Bao Gongming, General Manager of the Myanmar Garment Department, made a concluding speech, hoping that the project team and all employees of the factory would work together to tackle difficulties and successfully implement the project as soon as possible.
The preliminary research work for the construction of the MES system in Myanmar has been successfully concluded. This comprehensive undertaking not only lays a solid foundation for the implementation of the MES system at Handa Enterprise's Myanmar factory, but also represents a significant stride forward in the company's digital development journey for its overseas facilities. We eagerly anticipate that the establishment of this system will provide robust support for the expansion of Handa's overseas operations, driving the enterprise towards more efficient and intelligent production management.
