A delegation led by the Minister of Commerce, Industry, Textiles and Jute of Bangladesh visited Handa Industries for inspection and exchange.

On June 15, Mr. Khandaker Abdul Muktadir, Minister of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, Textiles and Jute of Bangladesh, led an inspection delegation to visit Handa Industries, accompanied by Professor Ma Pibo, Dean of the School of Textile Science and Engineering at Jiangnan University, and the research team led by Professor Fu Jiajia, for in-depth exchanges on textile industry cooperation. Han Chun, Chairman of Handa Industries, together with senior management including Vice Presidents Jiang Yanhui, Deng Peilei and Zhao Weijing, escorted the delegation throughout the site tour and participated in the forum discussions.

The visiting delegation toured Handa Industries’ Culture Exhibition Hall, Sportswear Exhibition Hall and Fashion Exhibition Hall in sequence. At the Culture Exhibition Hall, they gained a systematic overview of the company’s full development trajectory and corporate philosophy. In the sportswear and fashion exhibition areas, the delegates closely inspected a wide range of apparel products and cutting-edge fabrics. They acquired a comprehensive understanding of Handa Industries’ development journey, global strategic layout, core product portfolio and independent R&D capabilities. The delegation also raised detailed inquiries covering R&D innovation, product design, domestic and overseas market expansion and other relevant areas. The visiting representatives fully recognized the enterprise’s prominent competitive edges in new textile materials and global operation management, and spoke highly of Handa Industries’ robust product strength and industry-leading R&D capacity.

After the exhibition hall tour, both parties moved to the conference room for a forum and exchange meeting. Xu Keqing, Assistant to the Vice President of Handa Industries, gave the visiting delegation a comprehensive presentation covering the company’s overall strengths and development accumulation, outlined the context of its global industrial layout in a clear manner, and elaborated on the full-chain operation of its overseas project in Bangladesh. All participants listened attentively and engaged in amicable exchanges on topics including overseas factory construction and cross-border industrial chain synergy.

Chairman Han stated that Bangladesh is a key overseas hub in Handa Industries’ global layout. The company’s Bangladesh Garment Division has taken deep root in the region, boosting local industrial development and employment growth. Moving forward, drawing on its strengths in R&D and supply chain, Handa Industries will further deepen bilateral industrial cooperation to achieve win-win progress for all parties.

The Minister of Commerce, Industry, Textiles and Jute of Bangladesh spoke highly of Handa Industries’ operational contributions to the country. He stated that Bangladesh welcomes high-quality Chinese textile enterprises to establish local operations and grow their businesses here. Moving forward, the local government will continue to improve the business environment, fully support Handa Industries’ operations in Bangladesh, and foster deeper cooperation between the two sides’ textile industries.

The delegation conducted an on-site inspection of the enterprise’s distributed photovoltaic project and checked the operation and maintenance of photovoltaic facilities on site. They gained an in-depth understanding of the company’s low-carbon development layout centered on green weaving backed by clean energy. The delegation then proceeded to Handa Industries’ intelligent workshop, observing full-process automated production equipment up close. They investigated the achievements of the enterprise’s digital intelligent manufacturing upgrade, and experienced firsthand the core competitive advantages forged through the integrated development of low-carbon green production and smart manufacturing at Handa Industries.

The arrival of the official delegation serves as compelling testimony to Handa Industries’ global strategic layout.
